Church Events

Mission Emphasis for November: BBE Food Shelf
Minnesota Food Share says that in the first half of 2009, some food shelves saw a 30% to 40% increase in food shelf usage. More than 10% of Minnesota’s children are living in poverty and many more are not receiving adequate food. Bulk Food Purchasing allows agencies to purchase high demand items at lowest possible prices. That is why, in addition to your generous non-perishable donations, cash donations are always welcome at the local food shelf at any time of the year. Every Sunday during November, we will be collecting non-perishable items and monetary donations for the BBE Food Shelf. Thank you in advance for your generosity during this time of need.

Cherub Choir Practice on Wednesday, November 4 and 11 at 4:00-4:30 pm.

Senior Choir Practice on Wednesday, November 4, and 18, at 7:00 pm. We will practice at 8:00 pm on November 11 due to the WELCA Thankoffering Meeting scheduled for that evening.

Attention Trinity Ladies: The WELCA General Meeting and Thankoffering Program will be held Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 pm. Please bring your Thankofferings. ALSO, please bring an item for the BBE Food Shelf for our Mission Emphasis for November.

The monthly “May I Have This Dance?” Bible Study will be held Wednesday, November 18 at 9:30 am at the Trinity Church.

There will be no Quilting on Thursday, November 26. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with family and friends

Hymn Sing Sundays. Beginning in November, worship on every 5th Sunday of the month will feature a hymn sing. Slips of paper will be placed in the back of each sanctuary two weeks before. Please write out your requests (from ELW or WOV) and place them in the basket. We will randomly draw hymns from the baskets to sing. We hope you enjoy participating in this opportunity to sing some of your favorites as we give glory to God!

Glacial Ridge Homecare & Hospice invites you to join them on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 pm at Ridgewood Villa, Glenwood, for a Candlelight Vigil and Tree of Life Lighting Ceremony in memory of those we’ve lost and in honor of those still living. To make a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one, please send names of who to and from along with donation to Glacial Ridge Homecare and Hospice at 10 Fourth Ave SE, Glenwood, MN 56334

West Central Singers in Concert, Sunday, November 22 at 4:00 pm at the Church of St. Mary, 11th Street and Kandiyohi, Willmar. The theme: “I’ve Got a Home on the Other Side” is an eclectic mix of folk songs and spirituals. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children and are available at the doo
