The December Flame (the church newsletter) is online! (note: PDF file)
Remember in prayer:
- Pray for safe traveling for those embarking on and returning from holiday journeys.
- Pray for those who face this holiday season in the midst of mourning and grief.
- Seeking healing for Dale Fauskee, Allegra TeBrake, Kathy Lewis, Ashton Terhaar, Carol Peterson, Hannah Sanders, Ellis Lewis, Rachel Warren, Harold Mebust, Victoria Hegg, Sterling Beauchamp, and Ralph Stone.
- We remember those in our own country
and overseas who now face hunger because of rising food prices. We pray that steps
be taken to provide emergency assistance
in response to the global hunger crises. We
must continue to be bold and persistent
in supporting efforts that will increase
agricultural productivity in Africa and
other parts of the world.
- Pray for those who will be far from
home. Pray for strength and peace within
each heart and an opportunity for Christian fellowship with those around them.
- Pray for those who have returned to
their homes after serving our country
overseas. Many face difficult times of
adjustment, healing and change. Pray for trust, love, understanding, and compassion.

We would like to Thank You for your wonderful support by thoughts, words, hugs, prayers as
well as gifts, riders and drivers during the past 15 months we were in Chemotherapy with Allegra. Our
MRI scan on December 5 and meeting with specialists on December 9 have led us to decide not to
continue treatment at this time as the tumor has appeared to stop growing and has indeed diminished in
size and density. Allegra was able to have her port removed on December 12. We will now enter a time of
wait and see while we concentrate on the physical therapy side of Allegra’s needs. We are so blessed to
count you and your family as friends. God’s Blessing to each of you during this holiday season and into
the New Year. Mark, Denise, Allegra and Chandler Te Brake
